Us:
Take Action And Serve is a service club started through dosomething.org that is geared
towards creating and participating in service projects for our local and global community. We
are a fairly new club and gladly welcome new members.
Why start a service club? :
This club, T.A.A.S, was created for students and other young people who want to be
involved in service and causes that they care about. That is why Take
Action And Serve was made. Becase of this, as a team we can go out and help the
community and other issues of global importance. Through this club,we ( the members) and
others who will join will be able to make a difference by taking on this
challenge and showing our commitment, perseverance, and our ability to work with others,
while considering ethical implications and increasing our awareness of strengths. Also, with
this club, it is a great opportunity for us to create self initiated activities as well as participate
in those that already exits. We want this club not only to leave an impact on our community,
but also on the members that are active in it. By taking action and serving the community
we hope that we can make it fun and fulling and not about just obtaining hours for other school
related clubs.
